The decision to found Beyond Curious was rooted in our desire to do what we loved, in a way that better suited us yet still worked for clients. More flexibility. Fewer layers. Greater contact between clients and creatives. Uncompromising standards. Impactful work to make everybody proud. That we’ve achieved this, meeting and working with great people and seeing our kids and the business grow side-by-side, brings a wide smile to our faces.

Led by Richard, Sean and Anna, our core remains deliberately small and we scale up and down on a job-by-job basis. This allows us to bring together the right skills and personalities at any one time. Whatever the requirement, we have a trusted network of talented suppliers that we’ve worked with for years, and who come in as a seamless extension of our team.

    Anna Watts

    Account Director

    Starting her career client-side in marketing roles, Anna knows what it’s like to be in your shoes. Briefings, budgets and deadlines aside, she appreciates how the best work and results come from great relationships and excellent communication. So much so that based on her own experiences, and a growing curiosity in the creative process and how agency’s function, she applied for an Account Manager role and never looked back.

    These days she’s driven by building those same great relationships with her own clients. She enjoys working closely with them as an extension of their team on a delivery or fractional basis, all whilst ensuring we’re not missing a beat getting work through the studio. She’s the person who spots the typo on the menu, loves simple yet bold typographic art and will never say no to a black Americano.

    Sean Pereira

    Creative and New Business Director

    Sean’s our creative big thinker, with a passion for conceiving and presenting beautiful ideas and the strategy to back them up. With 20 years of Art and Creative Direction behind him, Sean has generated concepts for all kinds of clients including Smirnoff, Buxton Water, BP, SEAT, Bridgestone, NSPCC, Cuervo Tequila, Sky, Vodafone, Mercedes-Benz, Jeep, Chrysler and Disney.

    He's happiest when being as creative as possible whether it’s a painting, illustrating in a sketch book, generating concepts for clients, or playing a newly made-up game with his nine-year-old son.

    He believes great ideas can make you smile and be indestructible all at the same time.

    Richard Brice

    Design Director

    Our creative glue. Richard has over 30 years’ industry experience encompassing all aspects of the creative process in print and online.

    He oversees all our design and production and the multitude of clients he’s worked for over the years includes Amway, Anglian Water, Avon, Bridgestone, BP, Buildbase, The Football Association, Firestone, Mercedes-Benz Vans, Nestlé, NHS, SEAT and Weetabix.
